There were always about four or so copies of The Four Books in my house
growing up at any one time. I loved "Catcher," but it was the Glass stories
that threw me around the room. The meta-narratives w/
Buddy-as-author/narrator in "Seymour" and "Perfect Day," the craft in "Raise
High" the reflections in "Franny," the emotional detail that went into the
family: I loved it all.

Adam, I write for the Features section and XL. A piece I wrote on the new
Dylan encyclopedia ran yesterday and my cover story on the Scratch Acid
reunion ran in XL on Thursday.

Levi, I wrote for Salon.com in the late 90s and in 2000. I don't think I
wrote for them past 2000, but I can't remember why. Editor switch, maybe?
