My Summer Reading :).  Cool thing to talk about.

James Bond.

Fleming's Bond novels are mental enemas giving me great relief from
Kierkegaard.  I think I've read five so far and am working on number
six.  They take about a day to read, maybe.  They seem to be attempts
to recover an ideal of British virility following WW II -- which,
along with losing all their significant colonies, probably left the
British feeling enervated.
