hello all,

Forgive me, but i'm after some information. I kind of stumbled upon this 
list and don't really know too much about it; in short, I'm JDS mad and I 
think i must have signed up for this during one of many internet frenzies on 
the living legend, and I only get reminded of it whenever I check my 
hotmail.

I know I'm at home in that everyone here is a massive Salinger fan; is it 
just a case of everyone exchanging opinions on his stuff?

It's just that often they all come through at once and when I read a few of 
them it seems like something of a family (Glass family?).

I'd be grateful if anyone could enlighten me. I am 29 (today) and I live and 
work as a journalist in London.
