[Bananafish] Love, Squalor, and shop wear

I just picked up a book With Love and Squalor (2001) ed. Kip Kotzen &
Thomas Beller.  I have not read any of it yet.  It surprised me that it
was published in 2001 since the copy I have mimics the old JDS style of
the plain mustard colored cover with that quasi-cursive font (besides it
has a lot of shop wear and dirt).  It aesthetical feels like a throw
back.  Anyone familiar with this book?
