Hello all of you out there!

I found this group on wikipedia a while ago and was just debating whether or
not to join it. So now I have. Well, background info. I'm a junior at Oak
Ridge High School in Tennessee and I've discovered Salinger for myself over
this past summer. In our AP English class each student picks a major
American author from a list of about 50, reads four major works, and then
writes a thesis paper about the author's works. There's also a presentation
involved but that's still a couple of months away. At present, I'm writing
an outline for my paper but I thought some diversion wouldn't hurt at this
point.

I might bounce some presentation ideas off of you all in this group to see
what you think but I also joined because this group looked interesting.
