Very interesting, this is the first that I have heard of an Image of
Yeshua dating from the 1st century.  Do you have a source or reference I
can chase down?  I know that there were early images of Simon Magus in
mosaics and Zeus on coins with other Greek/Roman gods and these images
were used centuries later as models for the traditional christian
iconography.

Lots of intermingling of cultures and belief systems in the first
century and the early church. Archaeologists have found coins w/ image
of Yeshua on one side, Bacchus on the other.
